SPINNING: "She's Everything" - Brad Paisley FEELING: conflicted I miss this journal. :( Even though no one here is the same, I'm not the same ... I still miss the way things were before Live Journal and MySpace and all the other Internet fads got in the way. True, a lot of my time here was wasted by trying to please reviewers with my flowery language and beautiful layouts, but it was still a place for much more candid reflection than LJ could ever be. It's nicer when the people reading your journal, however weird it may seem, are strangers. You don't have to worry about offending friends, betraying family. You don't have to face them everyday, knowing they're judging you for what you wrote here about them the night before. I wish this was just an irrational fear, that I really could share my feelings and no one would think differently of me, but I know it's not. I know it's not because I do the same thing. |
